Hi everyone, this is Anthony Montalbano with nri.com. Today’s video is about cellblock.com. This site here is a really cool tool that you set with your cellphone and your website where if you take pictures or video on your cellphone, you can automatically send it to a specific email address to get through cellblock. And it will automatically post those videos and images to your website wherever you put the embed code on your site.
This is a great way to keep your site update all the time with new images and video directly from your cellphone wherever you are at. And it just automatically just boom, upload, and publishes it around your site within a matter of minutes. And then it actually creates a gallery showing all the previous images or videos that you have uploaded and you can watch all of them on your site. So this is cellblock.com, I am going to log in and I will show you a couple things and how I set these things up and maybe you can go set one up on your site as well.
So let us log in and you can see right here the one that I have right now, this is the main one. So let us just say we want to start a new cellblock, I will click on Start a New Cellblock. Here we are on General Settings and those you see are cellblock email addresses, this is the email address that you are going to save into your cellphone. So that when you have pictures and video, you are going to upload them and send it to this email address.
Couple of things I want to make note of is a security settings, allow public uploads, you will probably going to say no, and then show email address you are going to say no as well because you want to hide it. If you just want to keep controls that you are the only person uploading images and video, then you are going to do that. So, that is something you may want to consider that way. You are the only one, you could control the cache that gets published because literally it will go live on your site and immediately after you send it to that email address that you create up here.
One other thing I like to do is if you do have an specific group of people that you want to post your stuff, you can go to this email white list, enable it, and put all the email addresses of the people that you want to accept pictures and video from. So, a lot of times with cellphone provider such as the price and wireless, you can get your phone number at vcwpicks.com. And you just put that right in here so that it knows that it is coming only from that cellphone.
So now that you have created a new cellblock, we need to get on your website so that when you send your pictures and video to your cellblock account, they automatically publish right to your site. So what you do is actually embed a cellblock widget to your site, we click on Watch up here in the tab left. You can see the cellblock preview here and as I share using bed code, copy and paste it there, put it on your website and all your pictures and videos that you have taken will immediately get published on your site.
That is it, that is cellblock.com, this is Anthony Montalbano with interenetriot.com and I will see you again.
