Hi! I am Tasha at the Erwin Gomez Salon & Spa. Today, we will be creating a red carpet look of Jessica Simpson. First, when beginning this style, first what are going to do, we are going to go ahead and section the hair into three sections.
Now, with your comb, you are going to want to use the tail of your rattail comb, Ii am going to come straight down, the middle of the head and then, right at the crown you are going to go through at the top of the ear creating one section. Just go ahead, and twist that off. And next, we are going to go ahead and do the other section on the other side.
Once we have created our three sections, we will put a small amount of styling product on to the hair, roughly maybe a shine serum or so and what you are going to want to do is go through, put that all along all of the hair just a minimal and what that's going to do, it's going to really go through and soften the hair, you are going to really want to protect the hair before, you go to use any curling iron or so. And make sure, you have a nice even amount all over, not too much where you are making the hair greasy or too much product, just enough to basically coat the whole entire shaft of your hair.
And now, we are going to move in to sectioning the hair, where we start creating the look as far as curling with diagonal sectioning.
