A 24-year-old gunman entered a Connecticut elementary school Friday morning and unleashed one of the worst massacres in American
history, killed 27 people, including 18 children, the AP reports.
The shooter was identified in multiple reports as Ryan Lanza, who is dead, and his younger brother is being held by authorities, the AP reports. Parents report that more than 100 rounds were fired. The shooter’s mother, a kindergarten teacher, was among the victims in the bloodshed.
