Kenneth: 8 months ago Chester and Lucy asked us to turn their outdated master
bathroom into a retreat that married his techno modern and her feminine
styles. After facing budget issues and a few minor disasters did we create a
happy union or a fractured fairy tale?

Lucy: Kenneth, I cannot tell you how happy we are about this bathroom.

Kenneth: This was a big challenge because we had to find that style that fit both of
you because you are all pretty opposite and this tile really does create a
beautiful environment but also the techno modern feel with the pattern but
also this very elegant colors that you like so that everything really works
together.

Chester: I really like the shininess of it.

Kenneth: Yeah it has an iridescent quality to it.

Lucy: It has a mother of pearl like jewelry isn’t it so it’s perfect.

Kenneth: And then this bathtub I mean this is great because it’s deep enough for the
tube you soak in it and I love this.

Chester: I will just explain to my mother it’s not a shower.

Kenneth: And everything worked out great in the end because by using the existing
drain lines a great tub and a nice big shower, it all worked out.

Lucy: It did.

Kenneth: I mean the shower is amazing. It’s big enough for the two of you to really
splash around. You know you have these great showers which are very
techno-modern right I love that and I’m so happy we were able to figure
out how we get the pipes so that we could still keep these windows
because that helps with the light coming through. You know this is
wonderful. Don’t you love it.

Lucy: I love it. It’s huge.

Kenneth: It’s huge.

The seamless glass door make the showers feel like it’s part of the
bathroom instead of a closet.

This wall really turned out to be a great accent wall because we were able
to add the windows which bring in more light with the glass but we also
got this beautiful oval shape that works with it to really add that balance of
modern and traditional. I’m glad your happy.

Lucy: Yes I am.

Kenneth: That means a lot to me.

And the soft yellow wall color enhances the bathroom’s warmer tones and
the beautiful drapes I mean you’ve got silk drapes in the bathroom.

Lucy: My favorite thing.

Kenneth: You’re just like the princess now.

Lucy: I know I love them. I’m so easily pleased I’m not though.

Kenneth: Chester and Lucy I had so much fun because we created a whole new
style. Thanks for letting me be a part of it.
