VIDEO DESCRIPTION:

On Sunday Roger Federer proved to critics everywhere that he is indeed the world no. 1, after defeating Andy Murray to win his seventh Wimbledon title. And at the same time he once again took the ATP's No. 1 ranking as well. The tennis star finally tied Pete Sampras' record at the All England Club, and won his 17th Grand Slam title overall, by beating Murray. Federer is now 17-7 in Grand Slam finals, including 7-1 at Wimbledon.
