Hey, thanks for stopping by. You’re watching FixMyRecipe.com. I’m Chef Billy Parisi. Our new fix goes to Justin of Copperas Cove, Texas, submitted a recipe for barbeque sauce. He needs a little bit of help. Don’t worry. We are going to fix him right up.
Justin, your recipe for barbeque sauce actually isn’t that bad. What we’re going to do is add a ton of roasted vegetables and incorporate it into our barbeque sauce to get as much flavor as possible.
So on a nice big pot, go ahead and add in some olive oil, and next we’re going to roast off these vegetables. Once the vegetables are nice and roasted, we’re going to deglaze with little Jack Daniels and make sure you cook the alcohol completely out.
At this point we’re simply going to add the rest of our ingredients and let it simmer for a few hours. Then we’re going to puree it and all the flavors are going to come out. And this barbeque sauce is going to be incredible.
Alright, Justin, we’re going back to the burner. Let it simmer for about 45 minutes. But we are going to grate some fresh citrus right into our barbeque sauce.
Oh man, the looks and smells of this barbeque sauce are absolutely incredible. Wish I had some pole pork and maybe even some brisket. I’m going to pour it in a little bowl so you guys can get a look at it. It’s not you same old commercial type of barbeque sauce. You know, we’re not over here making it for four million bottles.
Justin, your boys in Texas are going to love you for this. Hope you’ve got some pork or chicken or beef to hook up on the barbeque pit, put some of this on there, you’ll be an absolute love.
Justin once again, thanks you so much for submitting this. I love making barbeque sauce. If there are any other recipes that you need some fixing for, don’t be afraid, submit it to me. I would love to fix it for you. Come back tomorrow and see our new featured fix of the day.
