Rhubarb Butter Tart Pie Recipe
There is nothing like homemade pie. This is a Rhubarb Butter Tart. Let me show you how we made it. This recipe includes vanilla, cream, eggs, brown sugar, butter, white sugar, rhubarb and I’ve got a pie crust laying baking in the oven.
We’ll begin by making the rhubarb sauce. We’ll need about four cups of coarsely cut rhubarb. We put that on our pot, add our sugar, turn your heat to medium high and we’ll bring it to a boil. Keep your eye on it.
So once you have this simmered down to something that’s kind of thick like pouting, you’re ready to go to the next step. So turn off the heat and move on. So with that, let’s add our brown sugar, butter. Oh! That’s going to be messy. Eggs, cream, and a little bit of vanilla. This happens to be my homemade stuff.
Alright, so let me just have to whisk it all the other. But don’t worry too much about the butter bits they will melt when we bake it. I think we’re ready for the next step so I need to clear some space.
Bring on the pie show. So we’re going to take our rhubarb. I’m going to pour it into to the center of our show. And then carefully pour in your butter tart mixture. To pour it too fast you’re going to put a – you pour it too fast in over the whole in the middle which I’ve done.
Doing this calm down, take my time. Excellent! Now, this will go into an oven, preheated to 350º. That will bake for about 45 minutes, Rhubarb Butter Tart. If you’d like a little sweeter, add a bit more sugar when you’re cooking the rhubarb. Make it your own. I hope you enjoy it.
