An experimental restaurant in Toronto boasts a different six course collection of dishes every week that is based on using all the parts of a specific animal to create unique experimental dishes. So far the Feasting Room has offered meals with pig, lamb, rabbit, duck, chicken and cow. One of the sample pig offerings include - a simple fresh sweet-pea soup next, with ribbons of crunchy-chewy pig’s ears.

Regarding the nose to tail method of butchering, which has been around for a long time and is based on European tradition, the website for the Feasting Room says: “Not only does this reinforce the idea of conscientious eating but it is a good example of sustainable eating practices.” You can try the six course blind tasting menu for 65 dollars and the meal can also be paired with wine for an extra 35 dollars.

The Feasting Room is at a temporary location inside of the Orbit Room, a music club in Toronto, and the owner only has plans for it to be open for the next six months.
