Hi! I’m Stacy Reed. And in today’s butterscotch tutorial, I’d like to show how quick solution for resizing multiple photos of images at once, using a free tool cap photo sizing.
So down here there’s a couple of buttons and we can choose to either add a file one by one of we can add a folder of files. So I’m going to open up a folder wallpapers and let’s say that we want to change this wallpapers to be about 30 percent their actual size. We can come over here and we can see that this image which is originally 1024 by 768. After resizing, will become 307 by 230 pixels.
In order to get something that’s a little more rounded, we can always change this number over here to pixels and we can choose to make it about 300 by 225. Now the reason that when we put 300 over here that it changed automatically to 225 is because we have to maintain aspect ratio button collect, that means that no matter what size we change to over here. It’s also going to change over here. The next up is to choose a destination folder and we’re going to make a new folder on our desktop and then the other options for you to experiment with but.
Let’s move on to figuring out your file name mask. Now when we come down here, we can see that there’s already a bunch of them pre allotted for us. We just have to choose. So the file could avenge probably be something like thumbnail with the percentage sign and then N and that’s an order to give it a consecutive numbers. So we’ll click start and let it go. So now we’ll open the folder and here are all of our thumbnails and like I said they were all named consecutively. So we got thumbnail 1, thumbnail 2, thumbnail 3 and so on.
So as you can see photo sizes has one purpose and one purpose only; but if the perfect tool for those who find them selves resizing images or badges of images frequently and that’s the word on how to do it quickly and easily for free, bye for now.
