Red Carpet Ready for the Oscars: How the Stars get Pampered!
Zelana: For high profile events like the Oscars stars like Halle Berry, Cristina Applegate and Reese Witherspoon turned to the experts at Kinara spa so they can arrive in style on the red carpet.
When Kinara in Central Park invited us along with Oscar nominees and presenters to get gorgeous with their exclusive VIP beauty package, we jump at the chance.
So, tell us about Kinara and the celebrities who come here.
Olga: We’re predominantly a skin care clinic and we do some fantastic body treatments. We’re pretty well known in Hollywood. Some of our favorites are Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Alba, Halle Berry and Cristina Applegate.
I love active ingredients like Alpha Hydroxy Acids. We have our proprietary way how we mix them that exfoliates your skin and they brighten it but they do not have side effects. At least four times a year you might want to consider something like a body peel. Because body peel would actually exfoliate deeper and brighten, soften your skin, prevent dark spots, prevent wrinkle formations especially in your chest and really deeply exfoliates so, you feel fantastic afterwards and it looks great.
Zelana: Hollywood gets their Golden Globe. Thanks to Fiona Locke, St. Tropez VIP Skin Finishing Expert.
Fiona: With the Oscars being here, I’m going to have all kinds of people coming in my way. I have Giuliana Rancic, Emily Blunt, Toni Collette, getting them red carpet ready.
The skin finishing is all about giving you a really beautiful healthy glow. It’s not even tanning anymore. It gives you a great contour and evenness to your skin. In all of these types of treatments you’re going to find one main ingredient which is DHA, and that is the product that reacts with your own natural skin tone just on the top layer, and causes it to look a little bit darker and give you that gorgeous glow. It’s been approved by the FDA, it’s so safe, you can actually eat it.
Zelana: Can you give us some tips for getting the perfect tan at home.
Fiona: Do your product research. Go out there, experiment, find the one that works for you, crap your skin, shave, exfoliate, do all the things they tell you to do. Don’t be afraid to just go for it. Just use it, apply it. The more hesitant you are, the more likely you are to make a mistake.
Zelana: Now that I’ve seen from the pros how the stars get pampered, I’m ready to arrive in style. See you next time on Bella TV. Stay beautiful.
