(AP) _ A Springfield man has pleaded not guilty after his arraignment on a murder charge was interrupted by two courtroom spectators who charged at him as he was brought into court. Thirty-year-old Jose Santiago was arrested Monday morning in the weekend stabbing of his girlfriend, Jessica Rojas. Two men who disrupted his hearing face charges related to the courtroom incident. Their names were not immediately released. Police said Rojas was stabbed in her apartment at about 3 a.m. Saturday, just hours after celebrating her 25th birthday with family and friends. Police say she and Santiago had an on-and-off relationship and there were witnesses to the stabbing. Officials say Rojas was a mother of four who worked at city hall as a legal assistant. Santiago is held without bail.(****END****) VIDEO PRODUCER: Angie---------------------------VIDEO SOURCE: WGGB -----------------------VIDEO APPROVAL: Yes ----------------------------VIDEO RESTRICTIONS: courtesy ----------------------------------MARKET EMBARGO (S): none --------------------------------SCRIPT/WIRE SOURCE: ma birthday slaying------------------------------------
