These include the statue of Christ the Redeemer, which was recently renovated following lightning damage, as well as Sugar Loaf Mountain, which at 396 metres (1,299 feet) sits over the harbour in the city, overlooking Guanabara Bay. Copacabana Beach is a focal point for visitors to the city, and during the course of the World Cup, some 600-thousand foreign visitors are estimated to have passed through the city.For Sunday's final game, security officials estimate that some 70-thousand Argentinean fans will be in the city.
