Police officer with passenger of crashed vehicle.STORYLINE:Ten people were seriously injured when a car plowed into the patio of a Las Vegas restaurant during the lunch hour on Monday and came to rest with its hood inside a shattered plate glass window.At least one person was arrested.The Las Vegas fire department says victims were transported to two nearby hospitals with non-life threatening injuries after the crash at the Egg & I restaurant shortly after 12:30 p.m. Four had to be extricated from beneath the vehicle.A witness says the two men inside the Lexus sedan sat for a moment and then tried to run. Several men jumped over a short wrought-iron fence and caught them before police arrived.The vehicle was heading westbound on the busy thoroughfare when it crossed a median and veered into the front of the restaurant.Two other vehicles on the road were hit.
