Matamba Primary School have one thousand two hundred and two, two five students, from first grade to seventh grade and we have only twenty six teachers which starts in the morning, starts class eight and we have to stay in the classroom for three period before they have a break of one hour till ten thirty.
They have to enter the classrooms again and stay there till twelve thirty, when they have their break for lunch. And after they have eaten, they relax and play a little bit till two in the afternoon, so they enter the classrooms again and stay till three thirty, they break for evening activities. They learn different subjects including two languages; we have Swahili and English from first grade till seventh grade.
So when they enter school for the first year, they have to learn English and when they come here they speak Swahili all of them because they come from different tribes, and then they don’t speak any mother tongue, they come and they speaks Swahili, our national language. So it is easy to teach it because this is, we teach English media they lend all subjects in Swahili in primary school governments, public schools they learn Swahili but when they go to second school it is vice versa, they are going to learn all subjects in English.

For those who will pass the examination will be selected to join government secondary school, for the failure ones, have to join maybe vocational centers, we have a round, others have to go to private secondary schools if their parents can afford, but very few of them can. And the remaining have to join their parents to do anything to earn their living at home, so primary schools for seven years and when they go to second schools for ordinary levels for four years. After there other examination, they have to be selected to join high school for two years. And from there for those who will score high must go to universities and other colleges inside and outside the country.
So when they reach universities, you can see that the governments have to support them by giving them loan. After they complete their degree in their courses they have to come back, where they can pay the government. Second schools also if they pass the examination, primary school to secondary school, and the government have to help those who are from very poor family. The orphans, they par for their education, so primary school the parents have to pay and then we have to make sure that they have exercise holds of their pens and pencil and very lucky to have paper.
