Presidential-Themed Island Food in Martha's Vineyard

What better way to welcome the commander-in-chief then to indulge his presidential
palette. So on this Plum picks we’re going to show you some Obama themed island food.

Start the day off with a Mochabama Mocha Mott’s in Vineyard Haven. This Mocha is
brewed with milk and white chocolate.

For breakfast, stop by Espresso Love in Edgartown and pick up an Obama muffin made
with whole wheat flour and chock-full of fruits.

Next head to Zephrus in Vineyard Haven and make a lunch of their presidential club.
This double decker sandwich is half BLT and half lobster roll. And it will fill anyone
commanding a nation as well as you.

And when the dinner bell chimes, Sharky’s in Oak Bluffs has their presidential theme
dinner and drink that pay homage to the head of states Hawaiian russ with the special
ingredient, pineapple. There’s Barrack rock. Home made guacamole with fresh chopped
pineapple and mango.

Wash that down with an Obamarita. It’s a mandarin orange puree with pineapple juice
triple sac, sour mix and tequila. O-bama.

Lastly, you want to Barack your world with Mad Martha’s Barrack my World ice cream.
The owner has knew the President Obama loves coffee ice cream, so they created a flavor
just for him. Yum. Espresso based ice cream with macadamia nuts and caramel.
