Female: So this is the room.
Female: It’s a great kitchen. Wow.
Male: We need some help definitely.
Female: How do you want this space to feel?
Female: I want it to feel bright but not so much white, the white --, the white countertops, the white cabinet.
Female: It’s a world of white. I’m going to have you all go prime the backsplash. Glass surface primer is the key to starting this project. It’s made to stick to ceramic tile. Regular primer just won't do. Painting your tile backsplash is really cost effective because if you were to start all over and rip your tile out, it would be way more expensive. And why waste money if you don’t have to right?
Female: This is true, I choose the bargain.
Female: Before the kitchen had no real focal point so I’m going to create it for you. On the hood, I’m going to do something really simple. Behind the stove, I’m going to repeat the leaf pattern just to add a subtle interest. And in order to protect your masterpiece, don’t forget to put on a coat of polyurethane. It will protect it from the normal wear and tear of the kitchen. Come on in.
Male: This is nice.
Female: All of your cabinets were the same color and it was boring. Now we’ve shaken it up. So what do you think of the hood?
Female: It’s beautiful. It’s cool and it’s simple but it’s like I never thought of doing that.
Female: The really cool part is that you can make such a drastic change by only using paint.
Male: It’s still amazing how good the tile looks painted.
Female: You can take old nasty tile and paint it and make it look brand new and then with polyurethane, it protects the tile.
