Wardrobe Tips: Outfits for Night Out - as part of the women's style series on clothing and fashion by GeoBeats.
If you are going out directly from the office, I would pack a small bag of a few essential items in which to change into before you go out. It is pretty simple actually. So if you are wearing flats to work, I would switch it out to wear heels. If you have a big shoulder bag for work, I would change it into a clutch and have a small little evening bag instead. If you are wearing a conservative blazer at work, I would switch it out for the leather jacket. Night says fun, night says a little more daring, you do not want to look like you are coming straight from the office, and just those three things you can change it up in a really positive way.
If you are coming from home and you have an option of what to wear because you have your whole closet at your fingertips, I would say that you need to go with dark jeans. Dark jeans are a staple today, and they go with anything. So, take a pair of really dark nice jeans and come up with something unexpected on top, come up with a leather vest, come up with a jacket that you used to wear in high school, and put a fun T-shirt under it, a big necklace. So when you have your closet open to you with everything, play around because night time is fun and daring.
