Spice Up My Kitchen

Lauren: The Wilson’s have one hectic lifestyle, they’re both busy teachers and
they have two toddler daughters. The last thing they have time for is
dealing with their outdated dysfunctional kitchen. It sounds like it’s time
to say bye-bye to this bachelor pad.

Joel: I’ve been waiting to do this for a long time.

Jeff: Long time coming. So we got it locked on we still have to tackle the soffit,
the ceiling and wait till you see it when that wall is gone.

Lauren: Alright Joel now that I’ve got a little piece done on this wall what do you
feel about the color.

Joel: It’s awesome; it goes well with the cabinets, the countertop, the flooring.

Lauren: Since we’re doing the study of neutral when that back splash is in that
cobalt blue is going to pop.

Joel: Welcome to our kitchen. This kitchen is phenomenal.

Nidia: I think it’s safe to say we feel like we just woke up on a Christmas
morning. Every detail ties in together and the cabinets they’re just
incredible. From our black and white to these now I am in awe.

Joel: And I use to have this dingy wall that wasn’t even painted it was just dusty
and ugly. Now we have this openness we can see our lovely dining room.
It’s just perfect.

Nidia: I can’t say enough of this breakfast.

Joel: We can be even in the kitchen and the girls can be eating right here. This
kitchen is so great that you may even want to start cooking.

Nidia: Actually yeah you’re probably right.

Joel: We have a beautiful countertop that also ties into a lovely floor compared
to what we had what linoleum and half carpet this is perfect.

Nidia: Yeah.

Joel: Or backsplash looks phenomenal.

Nidia: In our pendants that goes along with backsplash, I mean everything is
coordinated so well.

Joel: And I don’t know anything about appliances daily but you picked out a
lovely perfect stove.

Nidia: I did it all myself actually no, I’m sorry it was Lauren also.

Joel: And before this used to be no man’s land we just completely ignored this
part of the kitchen.

Nidia: Yeah.

Joel: But now it works as part of it. It’s the interworld part of our kitchen now.

Lauren: There were several different connections we could go with this wall but it
was best to wait until the design evolved to see really would work best but
the Wilson’s buffet table turned out to be the winner and it was perfect for
our budget because they already owned it.

Joel: Overall this modern classic design that Laurne came up with is perfect, it
meets everything, we have the classic with the great cabinetry that we
have the monitoring with the appliances and the handles and the back
splash is just unbelievable.

Nidia: It’s just definitely all us.
