OS X: Split-Screen Finder Windows - Tekzilla Daily Tip
Welcome to Tekzilla Daily, I’m Veronica Belmont. Managing Window in OS X isn’t the easiest thing in the world, and while exposé and spaces do help, they’re not much help if you want to arrange two windows side by side.
Well, now you can do just that with the help of a freeware tool called TwoUp located at irradiatedsoftware.com. TwoUp brings a functionality of Windows’ Aero Snap to OS X. Just use the hot keys to send a window to the top, bottom, left or right, and it will neatly fill exactly half the screen, leaving room for your other work and the other half.
Unfortunately, you can’t shrink a window to a quarter size or use it with multiple monitors. But if you really need those features, you can pay a small fee to download a similar program from the same publisher called SizeUp. So if you need a better way to manage your windows on your Mac, try out these awesome tools from Irradiated Software.
