--STORY CONTAINS GRAPHIC IMAGES -- A woman sits alone in the dirt in a village just outside of Kabul. It is the prelude to her execution. She is accused of adultery. A man Afghan officials say is a member of the Taliban shoots her dead at point blank range. The video, obtained by Reuters is a painful reminder to Afghan authorities of the Taliban's rule from 1996 until 2001. Men in the crowd can be heard saying that Allah ordered her execution. Officials say Taliban commanders were sexually involved with the woman, either through rape or romantically, and decided to torture her and then kill her to settle a dispute between them. The killing raises concern about the treatment of Afghan women 11 years into the NATO-led war against Taliban insurgents. CAMPAIGNER FOR GIRLS' EDUCATION AND LAWMAKER, FAWZIA KOOFI, SAYING: "This is really shocking, and for me, I think, there is zero tolerance for such things and the silence of the government, and this happens only a few kilometers away from Kabul."
