Should scouting be open to gays. (Obama) Yes. Why so? Well, my attitude is that gays and lesbians should have access and opportunity the same way that everybody else does. The scouts are a great insitution that are promoting young people and exposing them to opportunities and leadership that will serve people for the rest of their lives and I think nobody should be barred for that."STORYLINE:During an interview with Scott Pelley of CBS News, President Obama said he thinks that scouting should be open to gay members.
