Kitchen & Tabletop: Notched Bowl & Peaked Nesting Bowls - as part of the home design series by GeoBeats.

We are going to talk about kitchen and tabletop which is anything for eating and drinking off of, or food preparation. We have two vessels here that I am going to discuss. The first is the notched bowl and it is a cereal bowl that I designed last spring. It has a pretty basic architectural shape to it, but the only added twist is this scoop out of the side that I designed to prevent your spoon from sliding into your milk.

The second vessel we are going to discuss in kitchen & tabletop are these set of three nesting bowls that I also designed for spring. I wanted something that nested flush together which is just beautiful to look at and also easy for storage. They are pretty simple shapes, clear glazed, would fit in any person’s home. The thing that makes them really unique is that they have this raised center point in the middle, making for really easy storage, and when you are done eating or drinking out of the center, there is actually a little design that reveals itself, kind of a hidden surprise on the bottom.
