Finally! A Hollywood couple that gets it right-- happily married, then a baby! Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are expecting.
Nick co-hosted “Live! With Kelly,” this morning and took it as a prime opportunity to spread the excellent news. Nick explained how back in January, Vanessa wasn’t feeling very great, “so she went to the store, got a pregnancy test, and it came back positive. So we are having a baby!”
Nick adds, “I’ve had a chance to do a lot of great things in my career and my life but this is the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward to. The fact that it’s actually here, it’s overwhelming.”
Nick previously told Hollyscoop his thoughts about having kids, “You know, when the time’s right, the time is right...but definitely I’m ready in the near future to become a dad.”
Nick says they will definitely find out the sex of the baby beforehand, because if they don’t know and the doctors do, it would be like watching a sports game on TiVo. It’s just not the same.
