Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo have welcomed their first child together. Let’s get you up to speed.

“ Camden John Lachey into the world just before 7 o’clock last night. He weighs in at 8 lbs, 9 oz.”

And People Magazine has an exclusive statement from the Lacheys...

“‘… Love has truly been redefined for both of us.’ The couple, who married in July 2011, announced the pregnancy in March. In July, Wipeout host Vanessa, 31, revealed that they were expecting a boy.”

So those are the facts, now the speculation -- what’s this baby gonna look like? When will we see the first photos?

The new parents could go Beyonce and Jay-Z style , posting a free photo for all online.

Or do things a la Giuliana Rancic -- the most recent celeb to go the magazine cover route via Life & Style this week. As she put it …

“It's safe and stops photographers chasing you around trying to get the first pictures.”

And, you also probably get, you know -- paid. Monetary compensation or not, this WHAS anchor is confident -- this kid’s gonna be cute.

“I’m sure it’s an attractive baby, with two attractive parents.”
“Yeah ( laughs)  it will be for sure.”

OK. The couple hasn’t sent out any other updates; both of their Twitter accounts were last updated on Tuesday. But looks like they were prepared. Vanessa Tweeted that she and Nick...

“... just made 4 different casseroles in bulk to freeze. Now, when the munchkin arrives, I've got some grub!”
