Wide of Times SquareSTORYLINE:Hundreds of thousands of revelers crowded into New York City's Times Square to watch the crystal-covered ball make its annual descent, ringing in the start of 2013.Braving temperatures in the 20s, many of the crowd waited as many as 15 hours to have a chance to ring in the new year in Times Square.U.S. Navy diver Richard Minniti and his girlfriend Jenna Savall kissed each other as confetti fell around them. Neither the crowd nor the cold dampened Savall's excitement about being in Times Square on New Year's Eve."This was my first time (in Times Square), it was absolutely incredible," said Savall.Natalie Matos travelled from Alabama to be in Times Square for the festivities."It doesn't matter the cold or going without food, It is so worth it cause there is nothing else like it, there's nothing else like it," said Matos.Wearing 2013 sunglasses, Charlotte Van De Peer said there is nothing in her native Spain like the celebration in New York."I loved it. I'm really cold though, but it was worth it," said Van De Peer.
