(Image source: Netflix )     BY ZACH TOOMBS AND MADISON MACK     More details on the fourth season of Arrested Development — as Netflix reveals all 14 new episodes will premiere in May.   Arrested Development enjoyed an all-too brief stint on Fox from 2003 to 2006 before being cancelled due to low ratings. [Image: Fox 20th Century / Spoiler TV ]   But after-the-fact, fans said the network had made a huge mistake. The show’s grown into something like cult classic status — with a passionate fan base in the last few years turning to the show on DVD and online, so much so it prompted Netflix to resurrect the series. [Video: Fox / Hulu ]   Wednesday, the cast of the series reunited for the Television Critics Association press tour and spilled some new details on the show’s fourth season.   For one, each episode will focus on a single character. Working around various actors’ existing contracts made getting them altogether an impossible feat — though every member of the Bluth family will have a role in the new season .    As for the actual content of the episodes, show creator Mitch Hurwitz tells USA Today : "The bigger story is the family has fallen apart at the start of our show … They all went their own way, without Michael holding them together, so they're left to their own devices, and they're not the most successful devices."   Now, all 14 episodes will be released on Netflix at the same time. It’s a format Hurwitz compared to that of an album — watch the episodes in order, or jump around. It’s up to you.   And Slash Film reports the critics association panel also divulged that “(a) potential movie is teased in the fourth season’s final episode … they did do one quick thing teasing a family reunion that could happen in the movie.”   For fans of the show, it’s all worth a celebratory chicken dance.   MICHAEL BLUTH: “Has anyone in this family even seen a chicken before? ”
