VIDEO DESCRIPTION:

The 2012 British Lawn Mower racing season got off to an extremely muddy start. Weeks of heavy rain in Billinghurst, West Sussex made driving conditions splashy, bumpy and sometimes downright frustrating for competitors. The race, which lasts between 10 and 15 laps, awards points based on finishing position. And with mowers churning up the mud the 'racing line' gets altered on every lap making the circuit unpredictable. Dean Fuller won the maximum 25 points, but only after paying a painful price.
