Elmer: This room needs a lot of work and that’s what David is here for.
Misty: I’m so excited to meet him and I have a secret crush on him just a little bit. Hi good to see you? I really would have jumped on you but I have heels on.
David: The pink what do you think?
Elmer: It wasn’t first choice.
David: Did you guys move into this or did you guys actually painted this color?
Misty: Sadly my husband chose it.
Elmer: I tried to paint it a different color and it just turned out pink.
David: What did you think the color was?
Elmer: More of a dark orange.
Misty: I don’t know what you want to do over there, the shutters as there are decrepit, they’re old.
David: Charming if this was going to be like a little cottage you know shabby sheek be perfect maybe we should get rid of those and put the sleek curtains in there it would be great.
Elmer: Good idea.
David: You got some pretty large room it’s more longer than it is wide are we keeping with the queen size bed or are we going to upgrade to king.
Elmer: We like the queen.
David: Queen is good because you still have plenty of room to move around and you still have a lot of space over here to do stuff like seating arrangement or more storage, anymore storage.
Misty: Storage definitely.
David: How about style?
Misty: We like the W-hotel
Elmer: The modern aspect of it, simplicity.
David: W’s go two different ways they usually have a very low head board which is kind of very unassuming or they have something really dramatic and really fantastic any preference.
Elmer: I think we’re genetic.
Misty: Anything with a padded head board.
David: Inspiration got some?
Misty: It’s a card from our wedding but I like the green of this with chocolates.
Misty: David is wonderful and if he wants to work without his shirt off fine by me. I didn’t know you can say that but I said it.
David: Check it out.
Misty: Oh my gosh.
David: Come in, come in your rooms.
Misty: It feels like it’s taller in here.
David: It feels like the bed just bring by brining it all up to the ceiling just make it look and feel so much more spacious. You can still have a lot of drama and a lot more elegance with white walls with the feature wall, the great bed and some fantastic accessories white walls are important anywhere.
Misty: I like the matching lamps.
David: Hotels typically when you go into it everything is kind of matchy matchy and that’s a great way to create a hotel look so we have matching side tables, matching lifts right there you’re going to create a lot continuity and harmony and of course this matches as well.
Misty: And I love the additional storage and the night stand.
David: You got to have storage, we have storage here with the bed.
David: Storage cues and look at all the storage you have over here. You know with hotels they have a lot of fun with you know dream, rest, sleep and I wanted to do a play on that so I did rest and rise over there and then I did an eye because this is where you rise and shine.
A desk was really important you guys to keeping near, you had one before and so I wanted to honor that but you have a really small desk in the corner with the really cool chair. You painted it lime green and recovered and let the one going small.
Misty: On tops.
David: On the air it is such a great thing in the small space, because it reflects light. Everything is so structured and so perfect I wanted to add a little bit of movement with the carpet that’s exactly what it does. We gave you curtains for privacy but you can open them up and have some nice bright light in the space.
