Hi I’m Aisha with picture perfect make-up and we’re here at PR at Partners Salon in
Washington D.C. to show you some of the professional tricks that we use everyday on
location. Today we’re going to talk about men’s grooming for special events. We’ve
talked about skin fitness which will help you prep your skin but every now and then guys
are going to have some special occasions where they’re going to want to look a little bit
more polished and a little bit more put together so what I’m going to do is show you
some tricks that you can do to look a little bit more polished but look completely natural.

What we’re going to start with is this cover stick. Now by cover stick I’ mean a product
that acts like a foundation or concealer but is all in one. This is great for guys because it’s
no fuss and no mess. All you have to do is open the product and this will act as a
foundation, a concealer, a cover up anything you want. Now since we want to keep it
looking really natural we’re only going to apply it in the places where Fernando really
needs it.

So anywhere you see any extra redness like right here around the nose, you can go ahead
and blend that in and see that looks completely natural. You can’t even see when it’s
there that’s the effect that you want so make sure you have the right color. I’m just going
to do this with my finger. You don’t need a special brush or anything.

And when you blend with your finger make sure that you’re kind of tapping and blending
so the make-up really blends in to the skin. So once you’ve got and your problem area is
covered up you also want to pay attention to under the eyes. Everybody has a little bit of
darkness under the eyes and this can sometimes add to a tired look or even an aging
effect and that’s something you definitely don’t want.

So what we’re going to do is take the same cover stick, look up and apply this very
lightly under the eye and you can already see a huge difference. This eye looks cleaner,
wider and more awake and you’re done with your cover stick.
