Anthony: Welcome to the Art of the Drink my name is Anthony Caporale. We are back with Stephanie

Stephanie: Hi!

Anthony: And we are going to do a drink that I have been wanting to do for a long time. This is the sex on the beach.

Stephanie: Really.

Anthony: Yes, I figure the weather is going to be a little bit warmer, spring time is coming.

Anthony: This actually probably at least ten rest piece of this drink depending on where you go, I am going to do the two most popular ones, at least on the east coast. As a matter of fact, when I was heading bar in North Carolina for a long time, when people came to order sex on the beach, I would always ask them, where you from? And if they said, any where roughly North of about DC, I would make it the way that I am going to make it and if they said that they were some place South of DC, I would make a way that I am going to have you make it.

Alright, this is going to go in a colons glass, all the way to top with ice and it starts with vodka. I am going to do and ounce of vodka and then a half ounce of peach schnapps and as I make this drink and you watch the ingredients you are going to see an easy way to remember what the ingredients are.

And then I am going to do half of the remaining volume of the glass with orange juice and then to the top with cranberry. So when I take the peach schnapps out, what do I have? Vodka, orange and cranberry [Muffled] right, exactly, so basically a [Muffled] of peach schnapps. And then I am going to take this, and I like to eat the juicy kind of fru-fru beach thing type things, I like to shake, froth them up, gives in a nice texture and I do not care about frosting the tin on this, I say shake to froth, so I just want the ingredients froth. And I am going to take this back in the glass, and I actually finish this with just a little drizzle of grenadine.

Stephanie: For color?

Anthony: Yes, for color kind to gives it that tequila sunrise cascading effect. And of course we are going to serve it with straw and I am going to garnish it with the flag. And this probably as many garnishes for sex on the beach as there are recipes, for sex in the beach, I would like to do a flag. Cherry and orange, again the red and the orange mirrors the ingredients, and that is what I call a North Eastern, sex on the beach. Right, I am going to have you make a different ready, you will try?

Stephanie: Yes.

Anthony: Okay, so same glass, ice all the way to the top. Great, and yours is going to have three quarters of an ounce of chambord which is black raspberry liqeur and then three quarters of a ounce of madori.

Stephanie: Madori, it is green.

Anthony: Yes, green and madori is melon, melon liqeur, three quarts of an ounce. So half and half, you want to equal that with an ounce half of liquor, totally and then pineapple juice all the way to the top. Yes, great, and then shake it right, shake it up a little bit, you can serve that layer, do you see before you shook it right, you can do that, I like the flavor of it, shaking a little bit better for variety. Awesome, right back in, and my choice on this is no garnish, just a straw, fantastic.
