Meet Model Sharon Kavjian

Sharon Kavjian: Hi! I’m Sharon Kavjian and you’re watching chic.tv.

Interviewer: We’re talking with Sharon, she’s our Chic TV model of the day and tell me, how long have you been modeling?

Sharon Kavjian: Just one year now.

Interviewer: Okay. And how did you get started?

Sharon Kavjian: A photographer saw me on The Mad Show in Washington D.C. where I’m from and told me I should be a model. So, coming into New York and it all works out amazingly.

Interviewer: Wow. That’s awesome. So, what agency are you with?

Sharon Kavjian: I’m with IMG.

Interviewer: That’s huge. And now, what does your family think and your friends?

Sharon Kavjian: They are very supportive. They’re excited for me and I think it’s so cool.

Interviewer: And are they here to watch any of the shows?

Sharon Kavjian: Yes. My mom was here this weekend. She’s able to come to one show, so that was really nice.

Interviewer: Okay. Now, did you relocate to New York?

Sharon Kavjian: I’m all over the place. I’ve just been traveling for the past year. I was in Europe for a while and now, I’m here going to London tonight.

Interviewer: Wow!

Sharon Kavjian: Moving out with my suitcase is the moment.

Interviewer: Okay. So, when you’re in New York, what do you do in your free time?

Sharon Kavjian: In my free time, I love to go running. So, Essential Park is great and shopping of course.

Interviewer: Do you have any favorite designers?

Sharon Kavjian: Hard to say. Mostly, I saw it more like Topshop and not the high end stores. These shows are fun.

Interviewer: Awesome. So, what is your dream modeling job?

Sharon Kavjian: My dream modeling job. I’d love to be an American vogue just because I’m American. So, I think that would be like the coolest.

Interviewer: So, do you have a boyfriend?

Sharon Kavjian: No, no boyfriend.

Interviewer: Okay. I’m assuming it’s probably hard to like meet people through traveling.

Sharon Kavjian: Yes, absolutely.

Interviewer: Okay. So, do you have any advice for girls that want to become models?

Sharon Kavjian: If you want to try it out, just go for it. Send your pictures in the agencies online out there. I mean there’s no harm in trying.

Interviewer: And now, how do you stay in model shape?

Sharon Kavjian: Well, I love to run, so that helps keep me in shape and I try to eat healthy somewhat.

Interviewer: Is it hard?

Sharon Kavjian: No, it’s not too hard. You just don’t need as much of the bad stuff and workout sometimes and it’s enough.

Interviewer: And what is your personal style like when you go out?

Sharon Kavjian: I’m very casual. I just like jeans and t-shirt, and nothing too fancy. I’m relaxed.
