Mediterranean Patio Makeover

Male: We got the foundational stuff down but we think it needs to be pumped up
a bit.

David: They’re favorite place in the whole world is the Bellagio Hotel and they
want me to take that inspiration and transform it in their own backyard.

Female: Oh yes.

David: I just mix it.

Male: I hear there’s a full party going on here.

David: Because there’s loads of planting that I want to do for this makeover I
called in the big guns. Gary Gregg.

Gary: These are going to give you guys a huge vertical effect but goal.

David: My goal is when they step out of their back door that they are on vacation.

We’ve done outdoor spaces before and we always love to do them but
none of them have been this large. It’s going to be a big makeover but it’s
going to be good.

When you’re in Las Vegas by any pool, the height of luxury is citing in a
cabana and just relaxing and just enjoying and so I think we need to go a
cabana, I want to give them a classic black and white stripe totally vintage
or a clean white perfect cabana.

I want to put up a cabana out there.

Male: Wow.

David: So I have two options for you I have cream one which is really nice, very
relaxing, it’s simple, it’s clean, it’s going to look wonderful, or it matches
the house, or we can do something eye catching and really, really graphic.

Female: We’re going eye catching.

Male: Eye catching.

David: Danielle what do you think? I think we need to paint the house. I’m
looking at all of our fantastic things that we brought in all the sanctuary
and the color of the house is kind of a light tan so they’re really not going
well together. There’s no contrast. Would that be beautiful?

Danielle: I like that color.

David: Alright it’s a really pretty color because that way we have a consistent
color palette we have the gray. We don’t have any of this marshmallow
tan we have the gray, the black, the white and the popsie yellow.The great
thing to do is to paint it.

Jane? We are so ready for you and this backyard is ready for you as well.

Jane: Now.

David: Go for it.

Husband: Wow.

David: We gave you urns on each corner filled with beautiful trees and flowers
and ivy and they’re just going to grow even more obelisks on all 4 sides
definitely over the top but that’s what the Bellagio is.

Jane: Look at the drapes over there.

David: Definitely wind up bringing a lot of drapery in a lot of soft lines.

Jane: Turn around the back of the house is a new color too.

David: We did. We had to paint it you know actually…

Husband: Yeah.

David: I was not expecting the paint, I was expecting just to add all these fantastic
tings and it looked beautiful but it didn’t showcase the beautiful statuary
that we had so we had to paint the beautiful dark gray.

Jane: Oh it’s just so unbelievably wonderful.

Husband: Every one of my friends is going to come over now and I think I’m going
to have fun getting them believe.

David: I will leave you now. I want you to open that champagne and enjoy the
evening by yourselves.

Jane: David, thank you so much.
