Materials for a Morris Minor Interior Makeover
Hello, my name is Phil. Welcome to my cover TV day today. Over the next couple of hours, we’re going to hopefully make the interior of my car. It will look absolutely fantastic so let’s move one with that. What we’ve got, what we’ve bought and what we’re going to use and how we’re going to do it. Right interior, standard vinyl off the internet. I got a roll of white. It comes in that length roll. About a week roll and I buy it and I recommend you need as you want which well 10 meters which I think it is. Almost definitely on the –but there’s one problem because I’m going to use more than half yard I think.
So I’ll put 10 meters of coal, I’ll put meters of white and we also got some of these from the tune shop. It expands at about five millimeters material but still nice and a little bit stretchy but still not so strong. That’s going to go underneath our material and I will adapt the material. I got to make me some pipe in. So just strip the material, fold it over and then I put a little bit of knife and cut down the center and stitch it up. So that’s that I think I got about 20 meters of that, that might be over kilos well but when you order the material you ask them to do that so they’ve got your material because I wasn’t charge for more material if you can make it. But then I keep for you of the show.
Here’s a 99 pounds sewing machine that is strong enough to go through four layers of vinyl. I’ve been through with it. So I know it works and the aimed go east to a yacht let me first just to practice one. Like a seat it should go something, got me little balls in there. And in goes I have something about that. The only thing different is just plain vinyl with the piping in the joint so it rose around in addition. This is what it looks like on the back, four layers and all lined up next together and just run through the machine several times. So that’s that.
