In pursuit of the American dream in 1990s Miami, they get caught up in a criminal enterprise that goes horribly wrong. SOUNDBITE, Mark Wahlberg, actor, saying (English): "I never really looked at it as a comedy. I just thought there was so many outrageous things happening you couldn't help but laugh at certain places, which I thought would make it for a more interesting balance. The movie was directed by Michael Bay, who has just signed Wahlberg to star in his revamped 'Transformers' franchise.
