X missed the spot for one alleged burglar in Florida, after he ended up in a sword fight at the bar he tried to knock off. WOFL explains.

“You can see the shattered glass where the burglar broke in. What he probably didn’t count on when he came to Captain Steamer’s pirate-themed bar is that there was a buccaneer inside waiting for him.”

As WFTV reports, Anthony Brisbane was cleaning the restaurant, when he heard glass break. Someone was trying to break in. Brisbane, with pirate sword in hand, confronted the alleged burglar and called 911. 29-year-old Trevor Prufall, pleaded with Brisbane while he was on the phone. Then, Prufall attacked.

Brisbane in interview. He hit me, I hit him, then I tried to grab the sword.

Reporter In the fight Brisbane cut his hand; he fought back against the tire-iron-wielding thief who was trying to get a bag of money.”

But this swashbuckler only gets cooler as the scuffle continues. The Daytona News Journal explains what happened next, according to the police report.

“[Brisbane] shoved Pufall to the floor and slammed a beer bottle into the suspect’s head, police said. Brisbane then grabbed a screwdriver, pointed it at Pufall’s neck and walked him outside to the front of the restaurant. By then, police had arrived on scene, the report shows.”

The Daytona News Journal reports Brisbane and Prufall both went to the hospital with cuts. Prufall was charged with burglary.
