Where’s the beef?  Apparently in the drive-through at an Ohio Taco Bell. WHIO has the story of one  disgruntled customer — who took it a bit too far.

“Police say a couple went through the drive-through and after the driver noticed he was missing a taco he came back to the window and started yelling at employees.  Then he hit the building and took off. …. He was arrested for felony vandalism.”

Court records indicate, Michael Smith didn’t take too kindly to his 99-cent accidental snub. HLN’s “Morning Express” has the employee’s take on the experience.

“He was just very sarcastic and rude and peeling of the tires. I think they thought it was another angry customer and that he would get his taco and maybe, you know, vent and pull out.”

And vent, he reportedly did. Smith revved up and rammed the entrance. But WRGT reports , police say he left a little — hot sauce trail — for police to follow.

“We were able to track the vehicle fluids back to his house about two miles from here.  Upon interview he admitted that he purposely hit the building because he was mad they messed up his order.”

If you think this fast-food fury is a rarity, it’s not. The Atlanta Journal Constitution notes , drive-through drive-bys are becoming disturbingly familiar.

“Two weeks ago, two men were arrested in Murfreesboro, Tenn., after throwing a brick and piece of concrete through a McDonald’s drive-thru window after ordering cheeseburgers without onions and ketchup but getting the burgers with both.”
