A Florida man was arrested following a domestic incident that escalated after his bong was broken by his girlfriend. According to ‘The Gainesville Sun’, the 20 year old male got extremely angry after his marijuana smoking device was destroyed and at that time, he threatened his partner with a semiautomatic .22 caliber pistol, punched her and choked her until she nearly passed out. The suspect allowed police to search the home after initially denying the allegations against him, stating he did not own a gun. Police did not find the weapon but discovered matching ammunition and drug equipment, resulting in charges of ‘domestic battery and strangulation, aggravated assault and possession of drug paraphernalia’.
