Make some me time. I used to be one of those people who said, I would like to make me time but I simply didn’t have the time. My day was too crammed to allow anything else in. And then a friend pointed out, if one of your children was ill and needed daily physical therapy, you would make the time wouldn’t you? Of course you would, somehow. The truth is, if we consider something important enough, we can find the time even if it’s very hard. So push yourself up the priority list and give yourself 30 minutes a day to relax and read a magazine, sit and think, soak your feet or just meditate or find a new hobby. I've just taken up painting and I find it wonderfully relaxing and absorbing. Try to make as early in the day as possible because it gets the day off to such a good start. This can even go with exercise too. Many people believe in an aura of power in the morning. Get up an hour earlier and dedicate it to you. Do some sit-ups while you listen to the radio. Go to the gym and make some new friends. And don’t make the excuse of not having enough time. If you consider it important enough, you will find it. I know it’s not easy, but in your heart, you really know you could if you really wanted to.
