Now, I have been using a mouse for all of my drawing movements in here. But, of course if you have a tablet, you might want to make use of it. And, these tools as you might notice are very well suited to using a stylus in a tablet type of input arrangement instead of a mouse. And in fact, the brush tool even has a couple of settings down here. I would like to point this out just so those of you with tablets can make use of them.
Use pressure, our tablets have the ability to measure how hard you are pressing with the pen on to the tablet and they can use that to vary the thickness of the brush. That can give you very expressive strokes. So, that is a really neat feature to turn on especially for tablets. Now this is not going to do you any good if you have a mouse because mice do not have the ability to measure pressure of how hard you press on the button so it is not going to do anything for that.
For those of you with advanced tablets, we even got a feature here that will allow you to use the tilt. Now, the advanced tablets will let you measure how straight you are holding the pen over the tablet and be able to apply that just like they would apply pressure as well. So again it just gives you a little bit more expression when you are using your tablet.
