So, we have got a lot of really useful ways for being able to use this. In addition, we have also got a couple of things down in the options panel for my selection tool now, this are both great out right now but if just select something, like for instance, my rolling hills in the background, they become un great and you can see that this, I would not really call them options for the tool, they are really more like features or functions. These are features that allow me to smooth the curve or straighten the curve.
Now, those are really important because when you are using these natural drawing tools like the pencil tool to draw out something like a hill, if you are wiggling your mouse a little bit, you are going to get little wiggles in here and some things like that. So, a lot of times, your curves are not going to come out as smooth as you would like it to.
I can push and pull a curve and you can see I have a pretty big curve over here but I can even it wiggle up in there and you can see how I pull it down. I am not getting quite the same thing out of this curve because I have got a few too many wiggles and points in there. So, what I can do is select that area and I can just click the smoothing tool.
Now, this is not a really sophisticated tool, you click and it smoothes a little bit and if you click some more, it smooth some more. If you smooth too much, keep your head on the undo key but it is very simple stick tool to light it just quickly go in and make some quick changes to your drawings.
Now, I am going to do that on the cliff here because quite honestly, it does not really look like a cliff to much, it looks like a sac of potatoes or something and we will get a little angular and maybe we can start getting cliff out of this. I might even use my control feature to pull another point out of that corner where there was not one before and I will go and straighten it again.
Oh, that gave me a big straightening in there. They all make it look like a chisel cliff. Okay, so it still does not look like cliff but we will work with it.
Now, take some time here to clean things up a little bit. I have got a few curve segments hanging out here in the breeze and glaring our mission. I think my mountain should be in the background instead of hanging in front of the cliff. That looks a little bit better. I might even take the opportunity to clean a couple of things up.
Let us see, we need snow covered peeks on our mountain. So, I am go on with the straightening tool and add some of that stuff in and we will go back to our paint bucket tool. I will pick out a, we will go with gray snow and we will toss that on in there. Okay, I think I have to get this cliff out of the way. There you go.
