In this week’s TechCast video podcast we’re looking at the i-Station 8 iPod docking system from a company called Logic 3.
The amazing thing about the i-Station 8 is the amazing 8 twin speaker system and 2.5 mill woofer with radio into it. It’s one-third of an iPods speaker system especially of course volume. This one comes in feature packed with an LCD display, tune up mill woofer, iPod docking port which allows synchronization and charging for your iPod. It comes protected with different colors for portability. Make sure those eight switches on primers and transits. Now it’s activated. All you need is main switch so you can power for the six double “A” batteries. Simple clock system there and all you do is you don’t drive about straight in there. It takes a few seconds for attempt to make. Once it does, you just switch it on. You got two blue LED’s at the side just like the previous Gen model from Logic 3. Let me show you the back.
You got a carry handle which also doubles up for the storage area for the remote control. This one rated at 34 and does not require direct line or signs. We’ll put that down there got the re-event for the woofer. You’ve got composite video, S-video out. You’ve also got date for synchronization for the iPod USB cable. Line in for external audio shows, headphone jack. So you don’t pull a set of headphones, battery on and off and at the bottom we have the battery full in there. It is on the main side there. It takes about 10 seconds for it to load and connect to the iPod.
What it actually does in that time period is it allows to take click control of the iPod because on the remote control you’ll find that there’s also a play list for backward input and album for and some backward shuffle and repeat as well as the other standard for desired play, rewind, fast-forward, volume and power. Just to demonstrate the sound quality. So volume, you can round on this. It makes three to reach in all stuff based on what you’re going to play on this. The important and best thing that you know just about as the big as the system is the rich bass that you get from it.
For the 8 twin system the reason why they’ve implemented that is to clarify the sound signals except trace then only just three inches big as to ensure a much clearer and cleaner sound and more natural sounding. Another unique feature about the Logic 3 i-Station 8 is the LCD display blue backlit which doesn’t function when you got the double A batteries running on it. You set it, they are always on. You got it off after 10 seconds, 20 seconds and you can now activate that for the mute’s port level and mute button and the remote control.
I always see the Flash that displays text information from the actual track I was playing. It also shows things like full names, states etcetera. So it doesn’t hold a great deal of information on it but it is handy. So if you are operating this this unit from a distance you're going to actually see what is actually playing.
