CROWD AROUND BUS AS LIU GETS ONTO BUS STORY: Former champion hurdler Liu Xiang returned home on Tuesday (August 14) morning after receiving surgery on his Achilles tendon in Britain, following his crash out of the 110-metre hurdles heat at the London Games. But the star athlete "is not thinking about retiring", said China's athletics team leader, who added that he was unsure when and how Liu will make a comeback, official agency Xinhua reported last week. The 29-year-old's London Games ended when he clattered into the first hurdle of his heat, four years after he had to withdraw from the heats of the Beijing Olympics because of a similar tendon injury.
