Leonardo DiCaprio About Inception Movie
Female: Leonardo DiCaprio is teaming up with Dark Knight director Chris Nolan for the first time in the new thriller Inception. It’s a mind bending movie about dreams. And Rachel had the dream assignment of sitting down with the handsome star.

Rachel: What an absolutely mind blowing ride this was. I mean when we've read the script for you like how are you going to translate this to the big screen?
Leonardo: Well, I knew that that was the job of Chris Nolan and I know he has a great track record in the past of pulling off highly complex narratives and making them emotionally engaging for an audience which is a very, very difficult thing to do. And here's Chris sort of playing with everything that Hollywood has to offer.
There's a huge spectrum to this film. And it’s not just that, but we’re entering four different stages of the human mind here and at the root of it made some very powerful characters that had a real powerful cathartic journey through the course of the film that needed to come to grips with a lot of powerful emotional things. So he sort of threw everything into the cake mix on this one.

Rachel: And this is such a deep --I mean this goes in so many directions. I mean it such a complex movie. Did you start analyzing your own dreams differently when you were doing the movie and thinking about things differently?
Leonardo: I just became more confused to be honest about interpreting the dream world. I mean obviously we suppressed things in our life, the thoughts and emotions and ideas during the daytime when we’re busy doing to other things and at night, our mind had this sort of firework session as we’re deep in the state of unconsciousness. So there are things to sort extract from the dream world, obviously. There's something could be learned. What that is I think is how you will interpret it.
Rachel: Absolutely, And we love you would say you're living the dream. I mean you have a fantastic career. I mean this enormously a successful movie star. Are there any dreams that you yet to fulfill?
Leonardo: I have plenty of things that I have yet to fulfill. I mean I'm still not settled as far as being an actor’s concern. I have a lot of more I want to try. So a lot of it that I want to do in the movie world and in the environmental world and in my personal life. I still have a ways to go. There's not a day that I don’t wake up and think I'm the luckiest guy in the world. I get to do what I love to do and sort of make my own decisions and do this professionally. It’s great.
Female: And we’re lucky we get to watch. Inception is in theaters today.
