Hey, what is up man? My name is Aaron. I am actually in a hotel room for business. I am in Maryland.

So, I was not new the song I got. He wants to learn how to play this song, so I thought I would try to give a little insight for him and hopefully Smokey will like it. What I will play is called, “You’ll Think of Me” by Keith Urban. I play with the capo on 2, how he plays it. The two chords I play with the intro.

The two chords I play on the intro, like he plays in live intro or right here. First finger on the B string 3rd fret. The 3rd fret relative to the capo on 2, so the 5th fret and my middle finger on the D string on the 4th fret relative to the capo, 6th overall. This is the picking pattern I play.

Now, I will switch to C9.

Back to B.

Now, I am playing slide 6, 7, 8, 10, 10 to the 12th and back on to the 5th. Now I go back into the beginning part again.

Then I play on the G string. I play, open 2, 4. Then up on D string. All that sound together sounds like this.

Now, end it on this C9. That is the live intro he plays.

Then to get into the intro they are going to recognizes this. The four chords are G.

D, Em and C. So, the picking pattern, I will go really slow. See if I can zoom in a little bit. Up here a little better.

This is the G.

Then I hammer on the A string.

Then I slide my second finger up on the E string.

Into a C.

After that I will go on the verse and the chords are Em to C to G.

So, that last little part there is pretty much the same picking pattern, you just hit the base note first and then go through your own little “arpeggiation”.

When I go to the D, I start on the D string and arpeggio it down until I get to the E. I hammer on it too from open and I come back up on a B to the G string so --

And I pull off on the 3rd fret of the string, hammer on to the 2nd.

Pull off on 3rd with your finger on the 2nd fret to the B string and 3rd fret in the D formation.

Then back in the E minor.

So, I hope it helps some people out and some it is confusing and probably is since I did not write any of this out, I just kind of winged it. So, if you guys have any questions give me a shot and I might actually tab it out for some people if they want the version that I play. I know the intro at the beginning is not exact like he plays it but I like the way it sounds, so just get back to me if you like it.
