Niecy Nash: Hey Clean House fans, here’s our half minute tip from Go-to Guy, Matt Iseman. I’ve just finished painting, what would I do with the left over paint?
Matt Iseman: Well, you can actually store paint for years as long as you store it properly. Let me give you three tips to do that. One, put plastic wrap over the bucket before you put the lid on. Two, seal it with a mallet, not a hammer otherwise you might dentil it. Three, store the paint upside down so the weight of the paint actually forms an airtight seal. Now, if you have to get rid of it, take it to a toxic recycling center.

Matt Iseman: Well, an easy new kitchen cabinets can run tenths of thousandths of dollars. But if you want to give your cabinets a whole new look, refinish them yourself. Sanding and staining, it doesn’t take a lot of skill or a lot of money. The one thing it does take is time. So, if you really want a quick fix, new handles and hinges take only minutes but have a big impact.
