Hey guys. Welcome to my I-Spy. Our ingredient today is paraben. Okay paraben is a big one. It is a big ingredient that we have come across. It’s in a lot of different products, shampoos, conditioner, toothpaste, soaps everything that we’re using on a daily basis. And a lot of times, parabens come in groups. There is methyl, buytl and ethyl.
The problem that we’ve come across with parabens is a lot of waking. There has been a lot of waking that has been linked with parabens and skin ageing. It has been related to cancers and they’ve also related to some of the cancers in the breast tissue and they’ve found traces of parabens in that and they a contaminant can result there. So it deals with the hormones which is not natural. It takes your body off balance.
A good way to remember parabens is they come in groups like I said these are just some of the common ones, methyl, butyl, ethyl. There are a lot of different kinds but the way you’ll kind of recognize it is paraben is at the end of all of them. So it’s methyl paraben and ethyl paraben, butyl paraben and so on. There is a lot of different kinds like I said but it could very much pair them and you’ll throw them up in a bin. Paraben, throw them in a bin, get rid of them. You don’t want that in your body and all of that at all. There are different alternatives and you can do it so see you.
