For the event and location photographer the Epson P-2000 has extremely valuable features. With the Epson P-2000, you can backup and store files immediately on any job site without a computer. View files and place slideshows on a projector or TV with very little effort.
Print photos directly on site with no computer. The first and most important feature is the immediate backup and storage of image files. To copy data from a media card simply turn on the P-2000, insert a compact flash or secure digital card and select the memory card option from the home screen. On the next screen, select copy data from memory card or create album after copying data. You may also browse the card without copying.
To create an album, select a previous album or make a new one. After copying the files to an album, you can rotate or delete the files without changing the files in the stored data folder. This is extremely helpful for creating slideshows.
First, delete any unwanted files in the album for the slideshow. Simply press the menu button and go to delete, press okay and then select the select option. This is the best way to delete multiple images. Select all the images you wish to exclude from your slideshow and press menu. To rotate images press menu and select the rotate option, you can rotate multiple images by selecting right or left select option in the same way.
To start a slideshows press the menu and start slideshow. By pressing the menu again while slideshow is running, you can select the effect, slide duration and background music. It is possible to set your own music file for the background music. You can show your own slideshow on a TV or video projector by simply plugging in the RCA outlet.
The most innovative feature on the P-2000 is the ability to send photos directly to a printer on site. Simply connect the P-2000 to most Epson printers via USB and press print button for printing options. Using an Epson P-2000 is a great way to add reliability and flexibility to your photographic business.
