The pocket wizard the most flexible and integrated wireless flash trigger available just got easier to use. Although fully compatible with other models the new pocket wizard transceiver plus to allow the photographer to use the same mechanisms for transmitting and receiving, simply put one on the camera hot and attach another one the strobe. Put them on the same channel and make sure the transmit button is set, to both in the center position.
Press the test button to make sure the remote flash trigger is. Add a local 9ttl dedicated flash such as a meets or a quantum on to this set up by simply plugging in the sink cord for the flash to the flash terminal on the pocket wizard.
Now the photographer has full control of wireless flash right at his finger tips. By simply setting the transmit mode on the pocket wizard to local, only the local camera flash will go off. By moving the transmit mode to remote, only the remote flash will go off.
By moving the transmitter to both the remote flash and the local will both go of in perfect synchronization. The pocket wizard will allow the photographer to fire a remote camera with an electronic shutter release connection. Simply attach the pocket wizard motor drive cord attached to the camera to the camera flash cord on the transceiver.
Most cameras need to set to continuous or manual focus. Check that at the pocket wizard are on the same channel and the transmit mode is set to both then press the test button. Your remote camera will also set off a flash to set what’s called the relay. Simply place the pocket wizard already attached to the remote camera to the hot shoot or plug in a sink cord into the remaining cord on the pocket wizard. A relay is accomplished by setting the pocket wizard, on the strobe one channel higher. For instance, the photographers pocket wizard is set to channel one. The cameras pocket wizard set to channel one also. The remote strobe is then set to channel two. The relay is transmitted one channel higher than the remote camera.
