Dining Moroccan Style is a feast for the senses. Hi welcome to watch mojo.com. I am your host Christine and today we take a closer look at Moroccan food. Moroccan cuisine has long been considered as of the most diversified cuisines in the world. The reason is because of the interaction of Morocco with the outside world for centuries. Food fanatics will enjoy the diversity in Moroccan cuisine. Chicken, beef, and lamb are all favorites and if you want to drink like a true Moroccan, try green tea with mint. Which is served with hard sugar cones or lumps? If you enjoy delicious spicy food and have a bit of an adventurous pallet you will eat well anywhere you travel in Morocco. As you wonder around town squares or enter a restaurant you will smell the aromas of saffron, ginger and cinnamon mix with grilling meats. You cannot visit Morocco without sampling one of their many “Kuskus” dishes. Kuskus, a staple towards the Mediterranean is a type of granular pasta. The most popular drink is green tea with mint. Traditionally, making good green tea Morocco is considered an art form and the drinking of it with family members is one of the most important rituals of the day. Expect the Aromas of Moroccan food to be enticing and the flavors to be bold. And when you get home expect to want to recreate some of the dishes on your own as the memory will linger.
