In this clip we’re going to talk about curling irons in our industry. There are different kinds of
curling iron, as you see, this is a Marcel curling iron, you need a stove to heat it, we’ll put it in
stove and we heat this up and then we curl the hair with it. A round barrel, this is a big one and
we just make beautiful big curls, even give body with this and the twirling, the curling iron you
get beautiful curls with this iron itself. And again there are different kinds of sizes, different
kinds of barrels, depending on a kind of curl or type of curl you want to use. But for this kind of
irons which are Marcel, you’re going to need a heating stove this is a casury heating stove, it has
a top and a bottom, you have the heating part at the bottom, this is really hot up here, so you just
keep them warm here but you keep it hotter up here to curl hair instantly. So those kinds of irons
right here are for curling the hair. And also, electrical irons that you can use at home, that you
can plug in and it look just like that but you plug them in. this ceramic types of irons that you
have.
Now for instance, this one though, this was very special, this is a curling iron that we have and at
home you’ll find it like this, but this kind of iron is to curl the hair to make actual spiral curls and
it’s an Italian iron that I got from Italian companies, fantastic. And you curl the hair and you
make spiral curls with this iron. But at home, you’ll have them, or out there, you’ll have them
that are completely flat or just completely smooth and you can also curl the hair, doesn’t have to
be like this. But this give beauty spiral curls, and they give different sizes in this industry when it
comes to curling irons.
